How do I “reboot” app. Or subscription?

I have the base app on both my iPhone and iPad and purchased the advanced subscription on My iPad. However the advanced does not show up on my phone.
I tried to restore both app purchases as described In The FAQ and that didn’t work. The next step in the FAQ is to reboot? How is this done? I don’t see anywhere in the program to reboot. Do I delete and reinstall? Will I get charged again?
I was went to the in app purchases on my phone to get the advanced subscription, but it appeared like it was going to charge me another $70.
