Using LeadNav in China

Hi There, we have recently starting using LeadNav for our vehicle drives we do globally, we travel to many different countries worldwide to completed these often in remote areas, one of the countries we always have difficulties is in China, does leadnav work there? do we need to purchase any other hardware or software to ensure its operation?

LEADNAV works worldwide as a gps. It really only comes down to map imagery. In the app you would definitely want to run the Pro Pack subscription which offers great consumer level satellite map imagery worldwide in most major places. It could be anywhere from 1-5 years old however and spotty in remote areas around the globe. You could scroll over to your area of operations and check out the quality.

Above what’s available in imagery jumps up greatly in quality and how current it is taken. Our mapping in app provides 18 zoom. We have access to military grade mapping of 21 zoom collected within the month. If there is the budget this could be an option but just an idea your looking to jump up depending on the area you need to the 100k$ mark pretty quick.

We can also collect imagery via drone and fixed wing aircraft but obviously China would probably be difficult logistically.

We have the option to tie into directly taskable satellites that can be tasked to collect imagery days old as well.

Again it is all what the budget and group wants...the app is a core level capability until we tie in other pieces which we spend a lot of time training.
