Introduction

New to the forum and New to Ipad's (or apple products of anykind).
I am considering using this for an off road buggy and preparing for the 2017 NORRA Mexican 1000.
Looking into what I would want to buy and where to mount in the buggy at the moment and have a few questions that are probably pretty basic.
1. Why not the Ipod Pro? Why the Ipod Air?
2. If you have a GPS enabled Ipad why would you still want the GPS pucks?

Thanks,
Michael

    Welcome to LEADNAV

    1. Pro is a great device and plenty fast but is overkill for most GPS use. However if you would like to use it outside the mobility platform for other things go for it!
    2. The XGPS160 antenna gives an extremely stronger signal and much higher refresh rate over the internal gps. Internal GPS only refreshes your position once a second and is weaker so in the mountains or heavy terrain it will not be accurate. However we suggest getting this cell capable model for the internal gps as it is a solid backup and option when your away from the GPS puck
