Subscriptions: Need one per device, or one per iTunes account?

So I just renewed my advanced subscription earlier today via my iPhone. It seemed like when I originally bought the subscription, that because both my iPad and iPhone were on the same iTunes account, that the subscription to the advanced packs were included on each device.
So do I need to purchase an advanced subscription for each device, or does it cover multiple devices with the same iTunes account? R

    All purchases cross over to all devices on the same iTunes account... any issues with this transfer you can try refreshing each device on good wifi...then if that doesn't work you can (back up your work) delete the app from the device not showing the purchase...and reinstall it from the App Store
